SWAT team surrounds gunman in Oakland Park house

A Broward Sheriff's SWAT team detoured traffic in both directions on the 4500 block of Andrews Avenue during a standoff with an armed man in a house in Oakland Park late Friday, according to the Sheriff's Office.There were reports of shots being fired into the air in the 100 block of Northeast 48th Street around 7:47 p.m. and when deputies arrived more shots were fired at them prompting the SWAT team call out, sheriff's spokeswoman Veda Coleman W...
