Foley: Athletics will give back to school

Florida athletic director Jeremy Foley, in a question and answer session with Florida Today, said the UF Athletic Association will likely once again give back to the school an amount similar to last year's $6 million from its surplus to help with finances outside sports.Billy Donovan, with two years left in his current contract, should get an extension worked out some time this summer. Foley is on the Bowl Championship Series task force that is evaluating the Fiesta Bowl's status afer improprieties put the bowl's status in question. He also met with the SEC"s other 12 ADs recently in Birmingham, Ala., and among the concerns is the imagine of college sports as a "factory."He thinks the NCAA will be dealing the Cam Newton situation in the near future - where there were reports his father too...
