Man uses fradulent license to work as school nurse

LAKE COUNTY -- A man was somehow able to work as a school nurse in Lake County for nearly five years without a nursing license. Deputies said Jose Rodriguez used a copy of a nursing license that belonged to a dead man with the same name. He was hired in 2006, and worked at Lake Hills School and Triangle Elementary School until he resigned in March when confronted with the forgery. Deputies say Rodriguez used to be a licensed EMT, but they're not sure what happened to his EMT license.
