Ddowntown Tampa Stands With All Of Downtown America In Memoriam

On Memorial Day, Monday, May 30 citizens of downtown Tampa, had a wide variety of celebrations, remembrances and events to select from to mark the holiday. There were picnics, art exhibits, beach parties, food, rides and games and somber ceremonies at cemeteries. And in downtown Tampa, residents and visitors trekked right over to Curtis HIxon Riverfront park to mark the occasion and to take care of the business of the day. Which,according to Mike Horton, Senior Associate Pastor of First Baptist Church of Tampa"Is about one thing.
