Judge Scolds Lawyers In UCF Player Death Trial

Lawyers for both parties in the trial of wrongful death lawsuit against UCF were scolded by the judge on Tuesday for too many arguments back and forth.Judge Robert Evans spent the first hour on Tuesday sorting out defense objections and a long list of depositions taken in connection to the March 18, 2008 death of the UCF football player, Ereck Plancher .Since the trial is already under way, Evans warned both sides that they need to work out any last-minute differences away from the bench, or there would be consequences.
