On 29th October 2019, nine children and their families, alongside Dreams Come True staff and a volunteer nurse, will be staying at CLC World Resorts & Hotels' Regal Oaks resort in Kissimmee, Orlando.
Arranged through CLC World's charitable initiative CLC World Charity Holidays the Dreams Come True guests will enjoy a welcome dinner at the Sofitel Hotel on 28th October before flying to Orlando on 29th October.
The families and children will attend an exclusive BBQ at the resort with renowned UK journalist and broadcaster, Jennie Bond, as well as enjoying an action-packed itinerary exploring Orlando's attractions and theme parks.
A Dreams Come True spokesperson said: "Since 1989, the Dreams Come True group trip to Disney World has given each Dream family something special to look forward to and happy memories they will cherish forever."
"So many of the children and young adults we support have missed out on experiences other people might take for granted. This is why the group trip is so important: it allows each Dream family to experience the magic of Disney with others who know exactly what they are going through."
"Each Dream family who stays with CLC World feels like royalty. We are so grateful that CLC World provides such a beautiful backdrop for our Dream families to relax and recharge," the spokesperson added.
In 2018, CLC World announced its collaboration with Dreams Come True, increasing the number of weeks' holiday accommodation offered to the charity. 2019's group trip is the second for which CLC World has provided accommodation.
Graham Wilding, UK Managing Director at CLC World, said: "As a holiday provider, CLC World understands how precious time spent together as a family is, away from the stress of daily life. For those coping with the serious illness of a loved one, that time is even more special, and we want to make it easier for charities such as Dreams Come True to provide those opportunities."
"Our partnership with Dreams Come True helps make this group trip a reality; this year making it possible for nine families to have their dream fulfilled."
